Client Server Application
CompuMed runs on our servers secured in our data center. Connectivity to our servers is secured using VPN connections configured with the necessary requirements for accessing ePHI (electronic protected health information). When accessing data in our data center, an additional layer of encryption is added between the client and server sides of all i3-ACS Medical Business Solutions developed software applications. All ePHI data is stored on the server side and our data center is protected with redundant utilities and backup power generation to provide reliability and availability. With 50 years in the business, we can proudly state that no client has lost data.

We are able to integrate with numerous EHR/Health System vendors. Interfaces are defined as real-time sharing of data between two systems in a static format. These data transfers include demographic data as well as charge transfers where available and reliable.
We have many data transfers in place and functioning for very large hospital systems as well as independent private practices. The industry norm is HL7, however we can import virtually any data with a consistent and defined layout. We have a full appreciation of charge capture and the appropriate matching to attending logs to ensure complete charge reconciliation.
